Goodbye New World Order, Hello Knowbuddy!

Friday, October 9th, 2009

Our days are getting shorter, snow has been forecasted in the higher elevations, skateboarding will soon be reduced to indoor spots, and winter will soon be upon us!  We’ve been thinking about you guys and we are stoked to roll out our new name - Knowbuddy.  Why a name change you may ask?  Well, whether it was due to confusion with some wacky wrestling shit, or parallels to some scary conspiracy theories, we wanted to loosen our corporate ties a bit (both literally and figuratively). You guys are now known as the Knowbuddies – our buddies in the know. Being a Knowbuddy is no easy task. We know you all work very hard and are extremely passionate about what matters most – Snowboarding.   With that said, we’d like to re-welcome you to the team. Check the blog for regular updates or feedback requests, and please don’t be a kook and space on updating us on what you’re up to (if you don’t know how, ask us, we’ll tell you). The more you guys participate, the more shit we can flow you and the more we’ll be able to do with this rad program.

Take a look at where Knowbuddy status has gotten some of our buddies:  One was invited on a film trip with Jeremy and Keegan, another got to throwdown at Hot Dogs and Handrails last month, there are some shots in the new TWS movie that feature Knowbuddies riding, there was a checkout in TWS very recently featuring one of you, a bunch of Knowbuddies spent the summer on snow at camps digging and coaching, and most of you are filming with well-respected film crews; you are all killing it and adding to this large equation in many different ways.  If you’re bummed on anything, speak up and let yourself be heard!  We have new products coming at you guys in November and tons of optimism about this upcoming season!
